Unreal Engine Character - Punk Female Cyborg

Personal project done in Sept. 2020 to practice character design/modelling and rigging. Not as polished as I wanted her to be but time is a luxury I don't have so she's as good as she's gonna get :)

Materials are pretty meh, mostly flat colors to be honest. Skirt could have benefited from more polys but the character was first intended to be used in real time in Unreal Engine so I wanted to keep the mesh pretty performant for cloth sim. Skinning could have been further polished, I can see some funky things going on in some of the more extreme poses but oh well.

Quite happy with the character though, went a bit crazy with the colours but I liked it, and I learned a ton which is always the goal of these projects!

Character was modelled in Blender and baked in Substance Painter. Not sculpting done, just simple sub-d modelling. Lit and rendered in Unreal Engine.
