Finally, here he is! The main character of my video game. Very happy with it, it was a struggle to reach a design that ticked all boxes: strong silhouette, good readability, story telling, good dynamism potential for animation... There's probably going to be a few tweaks still here and there and the color scheme is still a big question mark, but overall, it's done.

Friends pointed out to me that his face was too small and not readable enough and I couldn't agree more.
I later tweaked his face and ever so slightly increased its head size in an attempt to fix this. Overall the screen size was increased by ~15% and it's much better.
